Posh and Katie: BFF?

Katie Holmes and Posh Spice Beckham have been all over the net hitting Paris Fashion Week like true blue homies.

Ok so here's my question - how do these people meet? What do they have in common? What's the purpose? Is Tom Cruise trying to prove that Katie Holmes isn't on lockdown and he let her go ALL the way to Europe ALL by herself w/o a few Scientology bodyguards? Does he think we're stupid? Should we believe that Posh would really kick it with Katie? Where did katie get these clothes? She's been looking like dog poop for the last year, now she's a fashonista? Should we assume that Beckham and Tom are at Beckingham Palace chillin, drinking a brew and watching the kids?

Ok so that was more than one question.
