My beef with Elisabeth Hasselbeck

So I watch The View. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Its fun sometimes, I love Joy - think she's great. I like it best when Barbara Walters isn't on because I think she takes away from the fun and youthful aspect of the interaction between the chicks. I like Rosie, she's funny, she's informed, she's politcally saavy and she's a card carrying Lesbian who's OUT and PROUD.

Ok, here's my beef. I'm all for Elisabeth being conservative, I'm all for her being Republican. What I'm not down for his her upper class, anglo-Christian, closed minded, oblivious to the rest of the world, NRA repping, Bush praising, WAR supporting, bad attitude.

When it comes to the perception many black

unaccounted for nearly five months after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast.
Tens of thousands of black Americans displaced by the hurricane still have no
sense that their president is acting urgently -- if at all -- to address their
needs.

Can you really be so sheltered that you can't admit that 8,9,10 and 11 year old girls are raped every single day, not only by strangers, but by their own family members, including their fathers? Is there no room in your narrow minded view of birth control for the possibility that the Morning After Pill may be necessary to save the lives of many women and young girls who have been brutalized, raped and molested.

Are you so Pro-Republican that you can't SAY that U.S. Senators who provide pornographic material to young boys are not worthless pigs because they are gay, they are worthless pigs because they are sick and damaged and should be punihsed?

The latest headline to grip Capitol Hill comes
from the Los Angeles Times: A former House page tells the paper anonymously that
former Rep. Mark Foley's online flirtation led to sex in the lawmaker's
Washington townhouse when the young man was 21.

And that the "good old boys network" that covered for this freak should too be dismissed from their Capitol Hill positions and prosecuted to the fulle xtent of the law?

Do you have your head stuck so far up your husbands' ass that you can't recognize that marriage, although a spiritual notion, is in fact a legal union.

You cannot go to our minister and get LEGALLY married w/o getting a little piece of paper from the County in you State. What makes you so righteous that YOU can judge who should and should not be married in the eyes of GOD or the laws of the state.

I cannot stand your views, I cannot stand your opinions, I cannot stand the sound of your voice! However, in the same way that I am able to express my opinions on this website, you too are able to express your opinions, wack as they may be, because we do have a FREEDOM of speech, guaranteed by the US Constitution. And as long as people with BIG MOUTHS like you and me like to hear themselves speak that is one RIGHT that we can ASSume we will have for many years to come. So I hope Gay AMERICANS will get the RIGHT to be legally joined in MATRIMONY, I hope that FOLEY gets what is really coming to him when he goes to a Florida PRISON and I hope that you EliSabeth - WAKE THE FUCK UP!
