Carolina Herrera Boutique Opening

Venezuelan couture queen Carolina Herrera opened her new boutique in Los Angeles Monday night, in an event that was graced by many celebrities including Angie Harmon, Brittany Murphy, Lauren Graham, Gabrielle Union and Rebecca Gayheart. The 38,000-square-foot store, located next to Marc Jobs on Melrose Avenue includes her New York Collection and the Carolina Herrera Bridal collection. Additionally it will also showcase her new collection of sunglasses, Manolo Blahnik shoes and accessories by Judith Blahnik and Faraone Mennella. The boutique sells $10,000 gowns, $25,000 furs, and other items.

Reese Witherspoon, who was scheduled to co-host the party, was however missing. She recently filed for divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe and declined to appear at the event.
